Patenga sea beach is a popular tourist spot in Bangladesh. It’s about 14 kilometers south of Chittagong port city. The beach is near the mouth of the Karnaphuli River and stretches to the Bay of Bengal. It’s very close to Bangladesh Naval Academy of Bangladesh Navy and Shah Amanat International Airport. The beach itself is quite sandy, with a few rocky patches here and there. Most visitors come to Patenga Beach as it is known for having some of the most stunning sunsets and sunrises in Bangladesh. The more adventurous travelers will also be able to enjoy a river cruise on the Karnaphuli River, or a boat trip onto the ocean waves.
